PrimaveraP6軟體是美國PrimaveraSystemInc.公司研發的項目管理軟體
Primavera6.0（2007年7月1日全球正式發佈）的縮寫。

Primavera公司成立1983年，已具有25年專業項目管理軟體的研發歷史，是目前世界上
最大的、獨立的、協同的項目管理及資源和組合管理解決方案的軟體供應商，在全球
263個國家當中的157個國家有其用戶，總共約450000多用戶，分佈在42,000多個公司。

Primavera最初推出的產品命名為P3（PrimaveraProjectPlanner），一般應用於大
型工程項目的進度管理。1999年推出了企業級項目管理（EPM）軟體，簡稱P3E軟體。
Primavera公司根據不同行業的特點為工程建設行業、政府部門、咨詢與服務行業、能
源以及高科技等行業量身定做了一系列的項目管理模組。其中應用於建設行業領域的
P3E軟體又稱之為P3E/C軟體。

2007年，Primavera公司再次對項目管理軟體全面升級，新一代的項目管理軟體稱之為
P6軟體，目前最新版本為6.1版。

PrimaveraP6軟體由用戶端及其元件和Web元件兩部分組成。

用戶端基本模組包括ProjectManagement（簡稱PM）和MethodologyManagement（簡
稱MM），附加元件有JobService、SoftwareDevelopmentKit（SDK）和Project
Link。

Web元件包括有P6WebAccess、Collaboration、GroupServer、Timesheets。
